Acura is trying to harness a lot of the new aura of performance from the latest NSX.

Acura calls this focus "Precision Crafted Performance," which now includes the launch of a new turbocharged V6 powertrain for future Acura vehicles to use exclusively.

Acura says we could find a return of its favourite Type-S brand in the coming years, as well as A-Spec variants to cover all major models in the future.

The Type-S badge hasn't been around for a decade, last seen in the 2008 Acura TL.
