The quality of any new car improved for the fourth year in a row, by an average of 4%, and reached its highest level ever, according to the original IQS Quality Survey.
Grading system
Initial quality is measured by the number of problems encountered per 100 vehicles (PP100) during the first 90 days of ownership.
“There is no doubt that most automakers listen to consumers very well and produce the highest quality vehicles,” said Dave Sargent, vice president of Global Automotive at JD Power.
