This review will be useful for those readers who are interested in available technological solutions, as well as the optimal price-quality ratio of car parts produced in the European market.<\/p>\n<h3>INA, FAG, LUK, Ruville - brands of the Schaeffler Group<\/h3>\n<p>The German Schaeffler Group began its history in 1883 with Friedrich Fischer's development of a machine for manufacturing round steel balls, later used in bearings. The company itself, called INA, dates back to 1943, when it was incorporated in 1946 by the brothers Wilhelm and Georg Schaeffler. Subsequently, the Schaeffler Group became part of the FAG Group, which began its history in 1905.<\/p>\n<p>The company is now Europe's largest manufacturer of rolling bearings and related spare parts and products for the automotive and aerospace industries. Wilhelm and Georg Schaeffler received their doctoral thesis on the subject and were involved in the implementation of the developments in the post-war period. Production was based on the needle bearing developed by Georg Scheffler. Subsequently, it was proven in practice that the proposed bearing design provided highly reliable industrial solutions in automotive and aircraft assembly.<\/p>\n<p>The Schaeffler Group was formed in 2003 through the merger of INA, FAG and LuK, and is also a major shareholder of Continental AG. In 2009, Schaeffler Group CEO J\u00fcrgen Geisanger became the head of the World Bearing Association. To avoid negative consequences in 1937 Robert Bosch changed the form of ownership of the company, transferred from JSC to limited liability company, in order to keep the business for family members. It develops a number of activities at once. In total, Bosch files at least 5,000 patents worldwide per year. During the reporting financial period, it invests about 70 billion euros in development.<\/p>\n<p>The first modern successes are associated with the development of ESP electronic stabilization, gasoline direct injection system, high-pressure fuel pump, adaptive cruise control, drives for the first electric cars that came off the assembly line in 2010.<\/p>\n<p>At present, this major German company produces almost all groups of auto parts for cars: windshield wipers, batteries, car lamps and filters, spark plugs, brakes, drive belts. The company is currently one of the world's 15 largest spare parts suppliers.<\/p>\n<p>It is a supplier of products for Mercedes-Benz, Jeep, Maserati, Land Rover, Jaguar, BMW, DAF, Porsche and other automobile manufacturers. The technical base is focused on truck transportation, aviation industry, agricultural machinery. The company acquired the assets of enterprises characterized by high technical perfection of the design of produced shock absorbers.<\/p>\n<p>Each ZF brand is a separate company with its own scientific and technical base.
