Hyundai Motor is expanding its popular, award-winning Kona lineup with the all-new Kona Hybrid. The all-new Kona Hybrid is a natural extension of the Kona family and meets the requirements of European customers for off-road eco-mobility models.<\/p>\n

In addition to its bold design, it offers an efficient full hybrid powertrain and features a range of technology enhancements, including enhanced Blue Link connectivity, SmartSense active safety and driving assistance systems, and state-of-the-art infotainment features. <\/p>\n

Taking its name from the stunning Kona area on Hawaii's Big Island, the original Kona was originally unveiled in 2017 as Hyundai's first subcompact SUV in Europe. Hyundai is now offering a full hybrid version of its award-winning SUV. Shortly after the unveiling of the new IONIQ, the all-new Kona hybrid is a natural extension of both the Hyundai Kona family and its eco-mobility, making cleaner mobility available to even more drivers. It builds on the success of the original Kona and Kona Electric, offering customers a green mobility SUV choice that suits their needs.<\/p>\n

The all-new Kona Hybrid is powered by a 1.6-litre GDI Kappa, a direct-injection four-cylinder petrol engine delivering a maximum output of 105 hp. and a torque of 147 Nm. Its permanent magnet motor delivers 43.5 hp. (32 kW) at a maximum torque of 170 Nm..<\/p>\n

Along with this, the 1.56 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery provides outstanding charge and discharge performance, optimizing power output from the high-voltage battery and ensuring fast regeneration. Together with a powertrain output of 103.6 kW (141 hp) and up to 265 Nm of torque, this ensures that the new Kona Hybrid delivers a dynamic driving experience.<\/p>\n
