The 2019 Honda Insight Hybrid has a lot of practicality and reliability.
Interior trim features
This is indeed a normal car. Honda believes that the new hybrids are more convenient and will be bought regardless of the "wrap".
The 2019 Honda Insight hits the mark with an inexpensive price tag that gets you three trim levels: LX, EX, and Touring. All levels feature multi-element LED headlights, push-button start, and a suite of advanced Honda Sensing technologies for driver safety.
Insight EX products include an eight-inch display, an audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Insight Touring adds leather seats, eight driver's seat positions, Honda's satellite navigation system, and dual-zone automatic climate control.

Power and performance
The 2019 Insight is motivated by Honda's third-generation twin-engine hybrid powertrain. The 1.5-liter Inline-4 DOHC i-VTEC Atkinson-cycle engine has a 40.5% TEC. This ICE mates with an electric motor, cranking out 197 lb-ft. of torque and adds 151 horsepower to the overall system performance.
Honda further improves the energy recovery system with steering wheel deceleration switches. This is similar to shifting gears and allows you to switch between three different levels of regenerative braking performance. Honda says the system not only increases battery life through regeneration, but also helps reduce stress on the brakes themselves, allowing the rider to tailor their level of regenerative braking to different conditions.

Drive modes and battery placement
The full hybrid powertrain on the Insight uses the power of all systems (petrol engine and electric motor) to provide driving conditions.
In a hybrid drive, the gasoline engine drives a generator that supplies electricity to the drive engine, and under certain circumstances, the operation of the engine causes the gasoline engine to be connected directly to the drive wheels.
The battery for the 2019 Insight is located under the rear seats. Thanks to this, the Insight surprises with an impressive 15.1 cubic feet of boot space. You can fold down the rear seat back for more cargo space, and the total interior space is 97.6 cubic feet.
Production and prices
The 2019 Insight is produced at Honda's plant in Greensburg, Indiana, while Ohio produces the 1.5-liter Atkinson twin-engine system, smart power pack, and hybrid battery.
