Today we publish photos of the next generation Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, codenamed DN8.

Some design features of the new Hyundai Sonata Hybrid

This car, quite obviously, will have an enlarged engine room. The fuel tank is clearly in a new location, which means this car is built on a new platform with a 2.845mm wheelbase (the Sonata LF's current wheelbase is 2.805mm).

The design of the new car has not yet been confirmed. But the photo shows a sleek sedan, associated with the concept version of Le Fil Rouge, recently shown in Geneva. Such associations are simply guaranteed to attract the attention of customers.

It looks like Hyundai is seriously reshaping its eco-car strategy. The latest generation Sonata is released in a hybrid version, the company is also preparing completely new cars with improved eco-safety.

What do you think can be expected from environmentally friendly engines?
