Hyundai i30 2019 updated for the European market

Transmission upgrade does Hyundai i30 2019 to comply with the latest European emission standards.

The newly developed 1.6-litre 4-cylinder Smartstream diesel engine reduces CO2 emissions and improves fuel efficiency. The engine comes with three power outputs: 70 kW with 6-speed manual transmission (6MT), 85 kW with 6MT or 7-speed dual clutch transmission (7DCT) and 100 kW with 6MT or 7DCT.

Along with the new Smartstream engine, the company is equipping the i30 5-Door, i30 Wagon and i30 Fastback models with a diesel engine with exhaust aftertreatment. At the same time, all i30 petrol engines were equipped with a diesel particulate filter.

In addition to the technological update, Hyundai updated the exterior design of the i30 5-door and i30 Wagon. The front of both cars now features the charismatic i30 Fastback bumper. In addition, Hyundai has expanded the color range to include two additional colors, Stellar Blue and Olivine Grey.

Customers can now choose 8-inch Display Audio which includes Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Drivers can control the system using voice control, touch screen or steering wheel buttons to keep their eyes on the road.
