Genesis G80 Leak Picture

Thanks to our friend at Cochespias from Instagram, we get this leak image! We finally meet the new third generation Genesis G80! What do we know so far? We get this leaked Genesis G80 picture of what the car's final design should be. We have already seen many renderings of the car and most of them were correct in the overall design. The next-generation Genesis design philosophy that was featured on the Essentia concept as well as the GV80 SUV concept car will be applied to the new G80. The new G80 will feature a slim coupe-inspired body design with a fully decoupled LED lighting system, quad front grille , low and long side profile and sporty rear view design. Significant improvement will come in the powertrain side, while Hyundai Motor Group will provide it all with the introduction of two new engine families. The first will be the 2.5-liter and 4-cylinder Theta III engine, offered with a Twin-Turbo system and a final output of 300 hp. The 3.3-liter petrol turbojet in the high-performance G80 Sport is expected to change to a new 3.5-liter Lambda III engine with up to 400 horsepower.There are also speculations that the 2.2-litre diesel engine will be replaced by a new 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine. In addition to the internal combustion engine, the new G80 is expected to include some electric powertrain. Some consumers are waiting for Genesis to launch a purely electric vehicle, but this is unlikely due to the fact that we have not yet seen any Hyundai Motor electric vehicle that is larger than small or medium-sized cars.
