- With one of these classic cars, you will make an unforgettable first impression when you arrive for dinner.
Valentine's Day is approaching and it's time to decide where to book a table for dinner. Postcards, candies and flowers are purchased and ready for perfect delivery. Then comes planning for the actual date. What will you wear? You had a haircut? How will you get to your destination?
Will you take a limousine to impress your date, or is your current car good enough for that special night? How about stepping up your game and making sure this date is remembered?
Pick up that special person in a romantic classic car. The question is, which top classic cars are romantic enough for Valentine's Day? Let's take a look at five of the most romantic classic cars ever made.
#1: Aston Martin DB5
Whoever wants to make an amazing entry into this Valentine's Day in a classic car will have to start with the most sophisticated (and sexiest) ever made: the 1963 Aston Martin DB5. The classic Aston Martin DB5 is one of the most recognizable cars of all time. Imagine that you are dressed in your finest outfits and set off in this beauty for an elegant dinner at the best restaurant in the city.
Your date will be amazed when you stay at this popular classic. The Aston Martin DB5 has 286 horsepower and tops out at 142 mph, making it powerful and fast in addition to sex. This car tops the list because James Bond showed the world his beauty in Goldfinger.
And many women will agree that James Bond is forever a symbol of sophistication and class.

#2: 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air
Maybe you live in Southern California and want a classic car that lets you drop the top and drive along the coast before you order dinner. The 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is the obvious choice.
This beautiful example has a 4.6L V8 engine that should impress even the most skeptical of dates. And the classic elegance of the car will bring out the romance in anyone. Classic-Car-History.com states that the Chevrolet Bel Air is "arguably the most popular classic car in the world."
That being said, your date will be delighted when you stay at this for the evening.

#3: Ferrari 250 GTO
Let's turn our attention to those who might be looking for a sports classic to make this list. Maybe you and your date for tonight suggest a need for speed and excitement. Perhaps the most famous sports car of the era was the 1962-1964 Ferrari 250 GTO. Powered by a V12 engine and top speed of 174 mph, this powerful car is one of the best Ferraris ever to hit the road.
The only problem you will face is finding it. Between 1962 and 1964, only 36 copies were produced.
If you're lucky enough to get one of these for Valentine's Day, you're sure to turn heads at every stop. Some call this classic sports car the most desirable and legendary car ever made. While the Ferrari 250 GTO was built for racing, time has passed, happy owners now keep it pristine. And those who catch a glimpse will surely be left shocked.
In August, a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO was offered for $48,405,000 at the RM Sotheby's sale in Monterey, California. This offer made this 250 GTO car the most valuable car ever sold at public auction, breaking the previous 250 GTO price record of $ 38,115,000 in 2014.
No. 4: Porsche 550 Spyder
If mixing that convertible top with sports car speed is your thing for Valentine's Day, then for many, the choice is clear. The classic 1953-1956 Porsche 550 Spyder was first presented at the 1953 Paris Salon. The word Spyder was added to represent it as an open and lightweight two-seater. This beauty rides low and actually drove under closed railroad crossings in the Mille Miglia in 1954.
Porsche designed the 550 Spyder primarily as a racing car. He won the Nürburgring Eifel in 1953 among many other races of the day. Only 90 cars were produced, although 43 were non-racing cars as public demand grew for its sleek design and sophistication. By the way, the famous designer Ralph Lauren owns the 61st Porsche 550 Spyder.
Imagine the look on your date's face if you were able to pull up in this rare but highly recognizable classic sports car. You will be forgiven if you skip dinner and just continue enjoying the ride together.

#5: 1965 Ford Mustang
A Mustang for those who still want to impress but also want to afford their entire Valentine's Day date. Most everyone likes the Ford Mustang, and few do better than the 1965 model year. While not as rare as some others have discussed, this classic car has a powerful V8 engine and comes in coupe or convertible body styles.
Your date will take into account the time and effort you put into the evening when you stop by this classic car.

Right choice
Classic cars are extremely popular because manufacturers cannot afford to make cars like they do today. As enthusiasts know, the options are endless when you're trying to impress someone you hold dear with a car. And opinions are different depending on the driver. Some prefer a turning car with more power; some want this elegant and conspicuous convertible; others want racing cars to achieve levels of speed and performance.
But most just want the classics that the masses love and adore.
While these are our top five romantic classic cars for Valentine's Day, let's be honest: any popular classic car will make this day memorable and romantic. Just don't forget flowers and chocolate!
