Meet the 2019 Volkswagen Arteon, the automaker's latest to appear on their now ubiquitous MQB platform.
«Arteon is a Volkswagen brand," explained Hinrich J. Wobacken, general manager, North America Region, Volkswagen.
Underpinnings
Arteon is characterised by the aforementioned Modular Transverse Matrix Architecture or more commonly known as MQB.

2019 VW Arteon will down the highway with the deluxe 2.0-litre TSI turbocharged direct-injection engine.

External design
VW says the exterior design resembles a «true fastback» and that it «appeals more to luxury models with its wide, planted stance and sloping rear roof». OK, so fair enough.
The Arteon is a pretty good car, but next to its Gran Turismo contemporaries, the styling barely moves the needle.
«The Arteon has the style and performance of a luxury Gran Turismo at the price of a fully loaded mid-size sedan,» Woebcken said.
The Arteon is characterised by LED headlights and taillights, a wide chrome grille and frameless side windows.
Internal Procedures
Drivers will find plenty of premium materials that will give you a contemporary feel.
