Meet the Chevrolet Suburban with the new RST Performance Package. It's an old and well-tried model combined with new ideas.
Power and performance
The current Chevrolet Suburban is only offered with the 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8. But the RST Performance package is already available with a 6.2-liter V8 engine, which is designed for a record-breaking 420 hp. with. and 623 Nm of torque. The upgraded version comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
It is expected that the mass will be 3674 kg, although this figure has not yet become official.
Needless to say, the engine and gearbox feel like they are literally working in unison for an optimal balance of power and efficiency. The engine features direct injection, dynamic valve timing and active fuel management. The 10-speed gearbox has a lower gear ratio to maximize acceleration and improve dynamics.

Magic Options
Magnetic Ride Control is an active suspension that "reads" the road in front of the car literally every millisecond, causing damped changes in the electronically controlled dampers in just five milliseconds. So the Chevrolet Suburban RST Performance handles bad or bumpy roads admirably, relieving that driver.
“When you're in a hurry, the Chevrolet Suburban RST Performance delivers high levels of acceleration, braking and traction,” said Eric Stanczak, chief engineer for Chevrolet full-size pickups. “If you want to relax, the car is characterized by a sophisticated implementation, with exceptional ride comfort and quietness.”
Art themes
The Performance package is made with almost no chrome trim. Styling is more focused on body color.
Additionally, Chevrolet Suburban RST Performance can be supplemented with extra options. First of all, a special Borla exhaust system, Brembo brakes, 22-inch wheels and Bridgestone P285/45R 22 tires.
Pricing and Availability
While Chevrolet has not announced the cost. But the manufacturer has already said it expects the Chevrolet Suburban RST Performance this summer. Full performance specs will be announced closer to that time.
