The 2019 Mazda CX-3 is on its way, complete with refinements that the automaker says improve performance and efficiency.
Here's a quick rundown of what to expect when the new CX-3 arrives.
Standard equipment
Mazda has packed the 2019 CX-3 with a number of standard features.
Trimming levels
The mid-level CX-3 Touring includes 18-inch wheels, keyless entry, heated mirrors, automatic on/off LED headlights, automatic climate control and rain-sensing wipers.
The Preferred Equipment Touring package comes with a seven-point Bose stereo, sunroof, SiriusXM satellite radio with a four-month subscription and a cargo cover.
The Grand Touring features leather seats with glossy, corrugated piping, headroom, navigation and sunroof.

Security and protection
The new Sport i-ACTIVSENSE package adds enhanced Smart City Brake with pedestrian detection, Smart Brake support, Mazda Cruise Control with Stop & Go, lane departure warning, beam control and an adaptive front lighting system.
In other words, a boat with safety features.
Power and performance
The 2019 CX-3 is powered by a 2.0-litre SKYACTIV-G engine coupled to a SKYACTIV-DRIVE six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift and sport modes.
The automaker's signature G-Vectoring Control improves ride and handling, complementing the recalibrated steering and chassis.
